I have a charger now

Got it at the Best Buy equivalent here (it has cooler stuff and no geek squad).  We had dinner in the Barcelonetta area at a random seafood/paella place.

All the guides and online info say Paella is not Barcalona’s specialty but we were stuck walking on a row of identical seafood restaurants that was like Paella row.  I am sure they all had the same menu and all had Science fair-like displays of photos of food for the tourists (us). We picked the one with the least annoying and creepy hawker.

Razor clams, swimming in chewy butter goodness.

I have no frame of reference for these. But these were tasty. Like elongated clams strips in butter with different textures and tastes as you nibbled down it.

the largest lemon wedge in the world. (and Paella)

once again not too experienced with this kind of paella. Are the grains of rice supposed to be chewy?

Arroz negro. I kind of liked this better thanthe Paella it had a better more briny seafoody taste. But still had hard chewy inconsistent rice. If you squint this pic looks like a crime scene.

What ever happened to that horrible group Stryper?

I totally planned this shot.

So it was ok. The name of the restaurant is Rey de something, and I am too lazy to look it up.  All the restaurants seemed to be named Rey de something or del Mar so no big loss.  I enjoyed it since it was something a little different than tapas and the volume of food was more than the amount of alcohol consumed.

Glad you found a charger because that would have been tragic to leave without any pictures. Hope the rest got their luggage?
